The EM3965 Universal Slimline Charger is only 2/3 inch thick. The charger works with notebooks and other devices up to 90 watts. They fit firmly into power socket of your notebook. The adapter is shipped with tips for several brands, including Asus, Sony, HP, Lenovo, Delta, IBM, LG, MSI, LS, Compaq, NEC, Panasonic, Fujitsu, Sony, BenQ and Acer. This universal power supply adjusts its output voltage using an intelligent technique that detects which power plug is connected. To find the plug that fits your notebook, do not only check if the plug physically fits the power socket of your device, but also check if the voltage that is indicated on the display of the adapter is correct for your notebook. The product box gives an overview of the voltage of each power plug.

Optimal Safety
No concessions were made to safety. The adapter has a fourfold intelligent protection system, that protects against overheating, over voltage, over current and short circuits. Also, the adapter stops charging when it notices that your battery is full.

How to calculate the wattage of your notebook
To see if the universal charger is suitable for your netbook or notebook, you can calculate the wattage of your laptop. First, check your current charger or check the properties of your notebook. Then multiply the volts by the amperage to calculate the total watts needed. For example, if your current charger has an output of 15V 3A, you need an adapter with 45 watts (15V x 3A) at minimum
